Carol Ann Jones
Carol Ann Jones was born in Lower Gungate, Tamworth, Staffordshire in 1942 and educated in schools in Tamworth, Streetly and finally at Boldmere High School, Sutton Coldfield. In 1958 she was employed by D&I Stone, Dressmakers in Dale End, Birmingham.
In 1962 Geoffrey H Beach and Carol Ann Jones were married at Emmanuel Church, Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield.
On Good Friday 1963 Geoffrey and Carol were received into the Catholic Church, at the Abbey, Erdington, Birmingham.
Stephen was born in 1963, Helen in 1964 and Daniel in 1973, all born at Marston Green, Birmingham whilst the family were living in Water Orton, Warwickshire.
Carol was a founder member and organiser of the Water Orton Playgroup and 'Brown Owl' at the local Brownie Pack and a member of the Scouting Headquarters Committee.
In 1975 the family moved to Walmley, Sutton Coldfield and again Carol was active with the Playgroup and the Guiding movement.
In 1980 the family moved to Cheadle, Staffordshire, where Carol became a PTA Committee member, and class room helper at St Giles(RC) Primary School. Stephen left home to attend Agricultural College at Morton Morrell, Warwickshire.
In 1984 the family moved to Adderbury, Banbury, Oxfordshire, where Thomas was born in 1985, and Carol was a supervisor at the village Mothers and Toddlers Club. Helen remained in Cheadle.
In 1988 the family left Banbury and moved to Meidrim, near Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire and developed a pig breeding unit. Carol became leader at the 'Beavers' Guiders group at St. Clears.The pig breeding enterprise was discontinued in 1993. Daniel left home to attend the West of England University in Bristol.
Geoffrey, Carol and Thomas moved to Caerphilly in 1994. Carol became a Special Needs class room helper at St Helens Catholic Primary School.
